Please join Congregation Emanuel for our first Rainbow Shabbat. We warmly invite all Jews (affiliated/unaffiliated, unsure, practicing/nonpracticing alike), LGBTQ 🏳️‍🌈 family, and Hudson Valley community members to join in our celebration. Followed by a special Oneg with food & drinks. The event is free and open.     Most Wednesdays at 8:45am, check calendar for updates. During meditation, which begins at 8:45am, participants are led through a unique blend of Hebrew chanting, intentional breathing, and deep relaxation exercises to connect the mind, body, and soul during this unique- and uniquely Jewish- class. At 9:15am Torah study begins. An in-depth study of the weekly Torah portion (פרשת השבוע) that focuses on exploring meanings within the ancient text as it exists in our contemporary times.
