    Our Friday night Kabbalat Shabbat services provide a weekly opportunity to celebrate the wholeness of peace and community through lively, participatory worship.

    Tot Shabbat is a fun way to celebrate Shabbat with our community! Our monthly Tot Shabbat program, led by Rabbi Romer, is a 30-minute parent-participation program designed for newborn through kindergarten-aged children. The Rabbi plays guitar while introducing the basic elements of Jewish religion, traditions, and practices. Tot Shabbat explores holiday themes as well as Hebrew letters and beginning vocabulary. Each Tot Shabbat is followed by a special Kiddush, complete with healthy snacks.

    Most Tuesdays at 8:45am, check calendar for updates. During meditation, which begins at 8:45am, participants are led through a unique blend of Hebrew chanting, intentional breathing, and deep relaxation exercises to connect the mind, body, and soul during this unique- and uniquely Jewish- class. At 9:15am Torah study begins. An in-depth study of the weekly Torah portion (פרשת השבוע) that focuses on exploring meanings within the ancient text as it exists in our contemporary times.

    Wednesdays at 4pm. Rabbi Romer introduces the fundamentals of conversational Hebrew (עברית‬), including useful vocabulary, grammar, and sentence structures in this fast-paced, entertaining class.

    Wednesdays at 6pm. This class is designed for those who are interested in exploring Jewish rituals, practices, traditions, and ethics, as well as those who have chosen to convert. The foundations of Jewish values and culture, basic Hebrew, artistic traditions, and ritual practices are all explored in this warm, dynamic course.

    4th Fridays at 7:30pm join us for Shabbat Service at 7:30pm enriched by Zemer (our choir)!  We invite members of the Congregation to volunteer one Friday each year to be a “host family” and open their home to guests and/or anyone who does not have a place to share the Sabbath on that evening.
